About Anchor Sign

Our vertically integrated, self-performing business model differentiates Anchor Sign from other national signage vendors. From conception to completion, actual Anchor Sign employees handle everything: surveying, designing, permitting, manufacturing, delivering, installing, and maintaining client signage on time and within budget.

Our self-performing model sets us apart from other signage vendors and significantly reduces our clients’ signage expenses. By eliminating the need for third-party survey companies, permit expediters, subcontracted installations, damage-prone freight carriers, and costly manufacturing wholesalers, we ensure a streamlined and cost-effective process for our clients.

For over 33 years, Anchor Sign has surveyed, designed, permitted, manufactured, delivered, and installed nationwide with our own crews for tens of thousands of corporate and franchise locations for many of the world’s most iconic brands, including Amazon, Home Depot, Bank of America, The TJX Companies (including T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and Sierra Stores), Public Storage, Dollar Tree, Inspire Brands Restaurants (including Arby’s and Buffalo Wild Wings), Herc Rentals, Shake Shack, Chick-fil-A, Hertz, Domino’s Pizza, Darden Restaurants (including Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Cheddar’s, Bahama Breeze, and Ruth’s Chris), Smalls Sliders, First Watch Restaurants, Parker’s Kitchen Convenience Stores, Total Wine & More, Black Rifle Coffee, Krispy Kreme, Red Lobster, Blaze Pizza, JOANN, Petco, Starbucks, Chipotle, Bloomin’ Brands Restaurants (including Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Grill, Bonefish Grill, and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse), Papa Johns, RaceTrac Petroleum, and Panera Bread to name just a few.

Sustainability

ANCHOR SIGN SUSTAINABILITY

More Than 1,000 Tons of Steel, Plastic & Recycled Aluminum
Tens of Thousands of Gallons of Recycled Oil

At Anchor Sign, we believe in conserving natural resources and helping our clients reduce their environmental footprint more efficiently through design, manufacturing, and nationwide signage delivery.

Specifically, we are an industry leader in minimizing energy and water consumption. Additional sustainability efforts include reducing fleet emissions, fuel consumption, engine idle times, sustainable manufacturing, and assisting clients with LED retrofitting across brands.

ANCHOR SIGN’S SUSTAINABILITY EFFORTS:

Fleet

The Anchor Sign logistics fleet consumes nearly a million gallons of fuel and travels millions of miles yearly. Our commitment to reducing emissions, fuel consumption, and engine idle times has made us a sustainability leader in our national fleet operations.

In May 2023, we completed the fleetwide refurbishment of existing installation and service fleet vehicles and added new boom, box, and flatbed delivery vehicles to our fleet. Through this effort, all Anchor Sign vehicles are currently equipped with collision mitigation cruise control systems, fuel-saving automatic tire pressure inflation systems, auxiliary power units, improved aerodynamic designs, and idle shutdown. We also use GPS/telematics systems to optimize performance with driver and team scorecards for idling, route optimization, fuel economy, vehicle speed, and harsh braking/acceleration.

Anchor’s fleet maintenance department also devotes considerable attention to managing and reducing waste streams, recycling used oil, filters, antifreeze, parts washer solvent, spent batteries, scrap metal, and tires. Our truck wash bay area contains a water-saving system that allows us to recycle the water used to wash our vehicles.

Manufacturing

Our manufacturing and building facilities use 100% LED lighting, with tube lights in shops and break rooms harnessing natural sunlight. We also utilize low volatile organic compounds (VOC) coatings systemwide and follow robust recycling programs for tires, cardboard, fluorescent light bulbs, antifreeze, oil, paper, rags, steel, metal, aluminum, plastic, and batteries.

LEDs

Anchor Sign continues to be the industry leader in converting brand signage from neon to fluorescent tube lighting to more cost-effective and energy-efficient LED lighting.

Sustainability

Recycled

300 Tons of Steel, Plastic, and Aluminum
Thousands of Gallons of Oil

At Anchor Sign, we believe in being good stewards of all that is entrusted to us, and that includes our commitment to sustainability. We operate the largest fleet of company owned cranes, trucks and trailers in the sign industry. Every year our fleet consumes hundreds of thousands of gallons of fuel and travels millions of miles. Our commitment to reducing emissions, fuel consumption and engine idle times has made us a leader amongst national fleet operations. Our manufacturing facilities use massive quantities of raw materials to create the highest quality interior and exterior signage for the world’s leading brands. These facilities utilize low VOC coatings and recycle hundreds of tons of steel, aluminum and plastic each year. One of the most recognizable green initiatives we’ve implemented is the use of LEDs. This extremely energy efficient lighting component has far less environmental impact than neon and fluorescent tubing. Along with LED’s, we use electronic ballasts and transformers to reduce energy consumption for our clients, allowing them to save millions of dollars each year in their locations nationwide!

Giving Back to the Community

Whether through financial gifts, employee volunteer hours, or in-kind contributions, it is our pleasure and honor to support the following incredible organizations dedicated to improving the lives of so many.
